BELOW THE BORDER WALL

Big sections of the border wall already exist in South Texas. This wall is designed to be permeable, with regular gaps that allow for residents and farmworkers to access the private land and public parks that are situated South of the Wall. This area has the most apprehensions of undocumented migrants anywhere on the border and most of these individuals turn themselves in immediately after crossing the Rio Grande to request asylum. A wall will never stop this from happening. [Rio Grande Valley, Texas]
